I have received my copy of the Cohen-Esrey, LLC Team Member Handbook and
applicable policies. I understand and agree that it is my responsibility to read
and familiarize myself with the policies and procedures.
I
understand this handbook and applicable policies are the sole property of the
Company, and that they may be changed at any time without notice.
I
understand that except for employment at-will, any and all policies or practices
can be changed at any time by the Company. I understand that it is my
responsibility to understand and become familiar with any new policies or
procedures in future revisions of the handbook and/or Cohen-Esrey policies and
procedures.
I understand that no section of this handbook or
applicable policies are meant to be construed, nor should be construed, as
establishing anything other than an employment-at-will relationship, nor does it
limit management's discretion to make personnel decisions such as reassignment,
change of wages and benefits, demotion, etc. Moreover, no one in the
organization, other than the President, has the authority or legal ability to
modify the at-will nature of the employment relationship. The President can do
so only if it is clearly set forth in a written agreement that is signed by both
the President and the team member in question.
I understand and agree that nothing in the Team Member Handbook or
applicable policies creates or is intended to create a promise or
representation of continued employment and that employment at the Company is
employment at-will. My signature below certifies that I understand the
foregoing agreement on at-will status and I also understand the circumstance
under which my employment may be terminated. Furthermore, I acknowledge that
this handbook and applicable policies are neither a contract of employment
nor a legal document.
